How to safely remove microSD with HK-6?
Manual says to turn dashcam completely off before removing microSD. What if it's hardwired? Do I simply turn the dashcam itself off by holding the button and then remote the card?
The instructions also state that when extracting the card a configuration file is created. But how does the device know I’m about to physically take the microSD out to create the file in time? This sounds quite dumb but I am quite confused. I would understand if there was some sort of safe device removal button like on computers, but this is like abruptly taking the card off.
Reason why I’m asking all this is because I am planning to update the firmware.
Last question: when just switching the car ignition off, can I then remove the microSD card? Because technically the cam will switch to parking recording mode, and if I remember correctly the only time I tried the device started asking for an SD card to be inserted and it wouldn’t stop yelling at me lol.
