MOD POST- PLEASE UPVOTE FOR VISIBILITY -SLOW START, NEW MODS, SCAMMERS AND BST

Scotty Cameron Team,

I hope this note finds you and your families well. It’s been awhile since we’ve made a MOD post. Things have been rolling along alright here. We are almost 40,000 members strong. That’s a lot. We are seeing nearly 1M visits per month. Thanks for keeping things engaging.

The year of releases has, in my opinion, been soft after a banger year in 2025. Hope we can get things back on track but always tough when the masters release is a bust. Pink bag, for the masters. Wtf. Made extra annoying as I was fortunate enough to visit on Thursday with my 72 year old dad. A dream of mine to take him. Great day but a horrible cover to sit on the shelf forever. Let’s get some wacky designs the rest of the year!

In good news we’ve got a great new addition to our MOD team in Bazzer66. Please join us in welcoming him. He’s an absolute beauty. He’s been an active and engaged member for some time and well involved in the golf community.

Some housekeeping. Scams are ever present these days. We saw a few people fall victim to cordobra and he was in dozens of folks’s inboxes. This isn’t sophisticated. One search of the username will show you he’s scammed people all over Reddit. I really feel for the victims of scams. However, they’re almost always avoidable. At least research their profile and search their username. We’re at the age of AI where username and date isn’t really sufficient. Request a video call with the goods. If someone doesn’t want to do this, tell them to pound sand. If you don’t know the seller, be extraordinarily careful.

Also, with BST posts, I’m seeing increased chirps in comments on pricing. If you don’t like people’s pricing, send them a DM with some facts or just move on. This hobby is expensive and people often get premiums on cool shit. I’ve seen so many comments on pricing on things that are actually reasonable value. I’m not someone who loves people who exist to treat this as a business but we all know how chaotic it is to get the good stuff. We’ve been trying to weed out users like that. People just buy stuff because if you hesitate for a second you can miss out. It’s ok if folks have buyers remorse and want to sell for market value. The market will take care of things, if something is priced too high, it won’t sell, simple as that.

We’ve also seen some folks take some time when it comes to communication and sending goods to others. If someone has paid you money for a good, 2 business days is reasonable to send out with good communication. If you’re taking 5+ business days to ship something out, you’re in the wrong. Don’t post goods for sale that you can’t ship quickly. It should never take days to respond to people who have paid you and are asking for updates. It’s your responsibility to communicate and switch to another method that works better for you if you’re not overly active on Reddit chat.

As always, we are here to help. Please don’t hesitate to ask us questions, bring up concerns or to help take care of any dispute you may be in. Thanks for making this place my favourite place on the internet.

Take care.

It was just an incredible experience. Everyone there were so welcoming. Some of the best merch in the shop I’ve seen anywhere. The food, lunch and drinks set up was on point. They let my dad walk the course with us and we had such a good time. If you’re ever near Augusta during the masters, I couldn’t recommend this experience enough, we did not say for dinner or on site but kind of wish we did.
