New Samson's Dead Sea Clay is far too loose?

Hey y'all,

I ordered a new jar (jar? is that the right word? tub?) of Samson's Dead Sea Clay recently, and when I opened it this morning its consistency was very loose. Almost liquid. It's the second jartub I've bought, and the first was exactly what I'd expect out of a clay pomade. I'm not sure if this one got too hot when it was traveling through the mail, and sort of melted? Or if it's just a defective batch? The melting theory would make more sense if I'd just grabbed it from the mailbox right before using it, but it's been sitting, unopened, on my bathroom counter for more than a week. So unless it simply doesn't return to its original consistency after heating up, I can't imagine that's the culprit. Regardless, I do find myself wondering if throwing it in the refrigerator for a bit might help. Anyone know much about this sort of thing? I was going to reach out directly to Samson's, but near as I can tell there's no way to contact them. (Which is fine, I get the impression they're an extremely small outfit.)
