Excuse my ignorance, i'm new here, but can anyone explain why malaysians are so in love with margerine? I can taste it in everything, from basic products to more complex ones, margerine is in everything in Malaysia. Why would anyone use margerine to roast coffee or sunflower seeds? I love Malaysian food but as someone that is somehow careful what puts in their mouth, i find it very hard to eat healthy here. Is this (part) of why the obesity rate is growing so fast here?
