Looking for explorations of time travel where the time machine moves everything back in time. Just moving the universe back a notch but with a lingering thread to what became and was backed up from. So it would explore what residuals remain after such a shift. Since everyone alive today wouldn't exist.
I was just strumming through To Lay Me Down and it has a similar structure to Wild Horses by the Stones. So I looked up when they were each released. TLMD was first played in July 1970 at The Matrix in SF. Wild Horses was released in Apr 1971 by the Stones on the album Sticky Fingers but was also released by The Flying Burrito Brothers (friends of the Stones including Gram Parsons) in Apr 1970 (though written by Kieth).
Ostensibly these songs were penned about the same time. My guess is there is probably a common influence between the two that both guys heard. There was a lot of mixing it up in the musical stew back then!
All that said, there's a lot more going on in TLMD than WH.

Something like Heydoh or Marushen Honke.
There seemed to be a SeaWheeze training event or something running between Concord Pacific Park and Plaza of nations yesterday evening. This was NOT handled well. The runners were doing full on sprints and there were hundreds of them. The seawall was packed on a lovely evening with all types and these FULL SPEED morons were crashing through them with zero attention. The number of people that brushed past me at breakneck pace with no concept of personal space or attention to the people around them was crazy. And I'm not a small guy! I can only imagine what the older, smaller folks walking the seawall were thinking.
C'mon Vancouver, do better, let's have a bit of empathy and awareness when we're participating in these events and event organizers, seriously? Read the room.
Frustration and a bit of a warning post. Because Relisten doesn't have any stored account information, any likes or library saves you do are on that phone only and there's no way to transfer them to a different phone. My old phone crashed and I lost everything I'd been saving in Relisten.
