it seems like the conclusive advice is to leave the kid alone and to just get something like noise canceling headphones or ear plugs

so I'll count this as solved and thank you all for the advice hopefully this will be it

I know the title sounds bad but I am desperate my neighbor's kid always say outside everyday and screams non stop and because I work night shifts I need to try to sleep while that happens and I cannot because they keep screaming.

it's not screams because they are hurt or because they don't know how to speak or anything like that they just like screaming! and talking to the parents doesn't help because they have already given up. now assuming I got an okay from the parents how can I make the kid stop because I am 48 hours of being unable to sleep because of this kid close to just go down there stand next to the kid in just every time they open their mouth to scream I shout back I'm in the army I'm a commander I can shout so much louder and a hell of a lot longer than they can that I am confident in but I want to see if there is a way that doesn't involve potentially traumatizing a 4 year old.

I have been getting calls from private number for the last 3 days every time at around the same hour I cannot block it because it's a private number and I cannot just not answer because they just keep calling. I'm seeking help in finding the most horrible sound you can think of so that I can play that on a different device and have it reach the other line preferably one of the sounds that are physically painful. I do not care how bad it is I wanted to be as bad as it can because I am half deaf and I can use noise cancelling ear plugs so that I won't really be affected if you have any idea of a good sound that I can use please tell me
