What to say to someone who recently had a loved one who passed away?

"condolences"

Sounds too formal and heart less

"I'm sorry for your loss"

Why am I sorry? Like it isn't my fault and me saying sorry wouldn't do anything

"They are in a better place now"

What if they are burning in hell?

Is it just me who doesn't like bari Eid

Like pheli baat toh some people don't deserve to do Qurbani like they bring Lahkou ke janwar and they treat them so bad like itni tight rope and so short THEY BARELY HAVE ANY SPACE TO MOVE

I feel like people bring animals more to show off then Qurbani like im sorry but I don't think you need 40 bakre 10 cows 3 camels for Qurbani it could be like 2 bakre and rest of the money you can donate or pay for another family's Hajj who can afford it idk but people do be showing off their janwar

and don't get me started on the rallies. I hate them they make the janwar run for hours like what??????? That ain't right that ain't no good deed

Acha Chalo this is smth else on the actual Eid day people don't even have the decency to clean the blood they left like SERIOUSLY some people in my neighborhood they do Qurbani they take the meat and don't freaking clean after themselves the smell is there for weeks it's genuinely traumatizing

also what is this tradition with leaving the head on the road like Jahan bhi dehko sar pare hote hai omds im having flashbacks

AND WHO IS HIRING THESE QASAIES LIKE THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY DO QURBANI I AINT NO PROFESSIONAL BUT ISNT IT SUPPOSE TO BE AS PAINLESS AS POSSIBLE SOME PEOPLE USE DULL KNIFES AND CANT EVEN QURBAN CAMELS ON THE FIRST TRY LIKE??????

(I ain't hating on the tradition of Eid just a rant on how sum ppl lack common decency and ruin the day for other people)

The following message has been mod mailed to us by an ex member

"Respected mods,

As you all know that I was once part of this beautiful sub Reddit and because of my age, I had to stop taking part in the conversations and got banned.

Recently, I have been seeing alot of concerning posts about our beloved brother, Asher. As mods you know that he was loved by the entire sub and his contributions shall be remembered by us forever. However, two posts (one by his father and the other by deep beginning) made me realize that there's some filth among us. I can't believe that people would have the audacity to talk in such a manner about someone who has already passed on. One day we all shall pass on but just imagine, after we pass on, people talk about us or our beloved one's in the same way and manner they talk about that beautiful boy. Seeing this really hurts and hence I propose the following:

• Any post related to Asher would be instantly removed and the person making the post would be permanently banned.

• If someone wants to say anything good about him, they may sent a draft post to the mods and after the approval of mods, they may post it.

• Any post which is in any way targeted towards Asher, his family or deep beginning would be instantly removed.

• Failure to comply with the above rules would result in a permanent ban and strict action (such as reporting to Reddit) may also be taken.

This is a humble request on my behalf. The mods have absolute authority and they may accept or reject these proposals since they are in a better position to regulate this sub. However, it was something that I had on my mind and I thought that I should propose to you these additional rules for the time being.

Your attention on this matter would be highly appreciated.

Regards,

ihaad_66"

This honestly sums up what I have wanted to say for awhile (after Asher's father's post) and after reviewing some of the posts being made about him it's high time we take action he doesn't deserve negative attention and the more you post about him the more attention he gets I don't think thats what his family wants

So after today any post about him that's not approved by the mods will be removed and will result in a ban (1 week)

May Allah give his family Shabr and give him the highest rank in Jannat I didn't interact with him much but he sure was a sweet kid♥️

INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAYHI RAJI'UN

Please understand and comply with us
