Urdu is genuinely the greatest subject mankind has ever invented 😍🔥

Who WOULDN’T want to memorize 38 tashreehs, 14 applications, 9 essays, and 73 idioms just for fun? Literally better than entertainment.

And the grammar? Absolute masterpiece.

One tiny zabar missing and suddenly the entire sentence enters another dimension. So exciting. So user-friendly.

Math and computer science could never compete.

Those subjects just give direct answers like boring little losers. Urdu gives you ✨mystery✨

You write what you think the poet means, the teacher writes what THEY think the poet means, and somehow both are wrong.

And then comes Mirza Ghalib 😍

The man writes one line and the whole class, teacher included, starts a spiritual side quest trying to decode it. By the time you understand one sher, your grandchildren have already graduated.

Truly the most peaceful and mentally relaxing subject ever created.

some of us who knew ash are putting together a small digital memory/scrapbook book for his parents (itll be a month without him in a few days) and wanted to ask if anyone wanted to add smth

Comment and others will tell you an activity you’d be. For instance, driving or writing or singing or crocheting etc etc.

I'm aware that I'm being insane for hating my own language but why are urdu papers SO LENGTHY AND TIME CONSUMING.

Ever think about how some people speak in disclaimers before they even speak honestly?

Like adding “lol,” “idk,” “maybe I’m dumb but,” or turning everything into irony before anyone can react to it seriously.

It’s like wrapping fragile objects in layers and layers of bubble wrap before handing them to someone. Not because the object is funny, but because it would hurt more if it broke uncovered.

I don’t mean insecurity in the obvious sense. Sometimes it’s people who seem the most confident socially. The ones who always joke first, reply instantly, and control the mood of the conversation before anyone else can.

But if you pay close attention, some of them never fully place a sincere thought down without immediately softening it first. As if they’re tapping the brakes before the car even starts moving.

I think a lot of people are terrified of being perceived without a filter. Not rejected...Perceived.

Because once someone sees something genuine in you, you lose the ability to pretend you “didn’t really mean it anyway.”

Irony is such a comfortable escape hatch. You can always crawl back into it if the room gets too quiet.

Makes you wonder how many personalities are actually just emergency exits with good lighting.

Lol I was just talking to my friend about our childhood days when we used to be together aur aik baat which is too funny not too share 😭😭😭

I was a total menace and I managed to add some girls in my gang 😭 it was co ed till grade 2 and we used to bully not bully guys so much 😭

Pure school mein Hamne hangama machaya hota tha 😭 we used to run around, thokrein khate, logon se takarate 😭😭 we weren't even that evil lekin larke itna darte the toh we used to scare them even more bahahahah 😭😭😭😭

ya'll make a lot of posts here asking others to pray for goodness in your exams and i have to ask, does anybody actually make dua for their brothers and sisters here?

i tried explaining a greek joke to one of my friends once and halfway through i realised i sounded insane

because in my language, it’s just one sentence and everyone laughs

but in english: “okay wait the wording matters”, ''the tone matters'', “i promise it sounds funnier when my grandpa says it”, “ there’s context behind this ”, ''its acc funny how do i explain it to u''

and then i feel stupid for laughing 🥀

worse when they hit u with the polite “ohh haha 😭”
