hi, I have been trying to find a good, long bkdk fic to get into but I can't find anything!

I'm realizing that I'm probably suuuuper picky so it's my own fault but if anyone has any recommendations please let me know! I'm looking for a fic that's long with good characterization and (preferably but not required!) in-universe. I don't mind au's, but I always feel like the characterization of bkdk is better in fics that take place in canon. But if there's an au that has good characterization that works too!

I've been trying to read fics and the things that always make me drop the fic are: Izuku is characterized as either too feminine and weak or too cocky and overly masculine, one or both are characterized as players who sleep around a lot (I'm sorry I just can't take it seriously lol), cheating, love triangles, unrealistic and irritating miscommunication that goes on for too long (I love the trope when it's done well!) and any super out of character behaviors. Like if it's in canon and I'm supposed to believe they smoke weed lol

When I think of a perfect bkdk fic, my mind goes straight to promises kept by gabstar 😢 I fear I may never find another fic as perfect as that one, every time I try reading a new fic I just mentally compare it and then I get bored and go back to reading promises kept again 😭

I just want a long, easy to read fic where bkdk are in character and also down bad for eachother. Not too angsty, not too complicated. A good balance of pining, romance, humor, good characterization, and drama.

Any recs?

So I guess I'm late to it but I just saw how Derrick Milano re-posted the grammy's statement, and many people liked it, including Ryan Tedder, Sza, and other people in music.

It made me think a lot about how this whole thing will inevitably impact their working relationships/collaborations with other artists in future projects. Not even necessarily due to personal feelings, but also labels, contracts, and most of all the artists relationships to the recording academy.

But also personal feelings are likely to play a role as well? Ryan Tedder and Derrick Milano were two of the main writers of the album and I'm sure they're pissed BTS isn't submitting. Will that affect the likelihood of them working together again in the future? I like Ryan Tedder a lot as a song writer, but his reasons for wanting in on this album are very clear. Many songwriters are the same. They want the accolades, the credits, the money. If musical collaborators already know bts are unlikely to submit to the grammys in the future, will they be as interested in working with them?

I just have a lot of thoughts circulating about this now. What do you all think? Do you think this will hurt them in terms of working relationships and in what ways?

Hi I'm looking for a very old fanfic called Timshel. It was Panic at the Disco and the pairing was Brendon/Spencer. The plot was an AU where they lived in a world where some people were born with some kind of curse that gave them a sickly appearance/skin issues? and it made them ostracized by society. Brendon meets Spencer, who is one of the "cursed ones" living with the condition, and Spencer takes Brendon hostage I think? They go on an adventure together and fall in love eventually and I'm pretty sure Spencer's curse/condition gets fixed in the end. Please please please if anyone knows anything about it... I'd love to have the chance to read it again!
