Coast Guard helo out for a spin circled the High Street Bridge for ~15 minutes, getting as low as 200 feet before toodling back off towards the Golden Gate. Wonder what was so interesting?
Pursuing an acceptable mockarita and looking for hints and opinions. This one is Dave Arnold’s spec using Ritual Agave Spirit:
2 oz Agave Alt
¾ oz Cointreau
¾ oz lime juice
¼ oz agave syrup
5 drops saline solution
Shake all with ice and pour dirty into salt-rimmed lowball glass. Add fresh ice to fill.
We’ve tried this with free spirits and we’re not happy with how much capsaicin they use in the name of adding bite. Instead, we decided to try adding some Cointreau for a little edge but still an overall low(er) ABV cocktail.
Is anyone else out there trying to up their NA/LA game?
