Weird adalimumab experience

Hi, I've been on Imraldi (a Humira biosimilar) for 9 weeks, and I'm experiencing some “cycles” that I haven't seen mentioned here. I’ve read many times that it’s normal to feel worse as your next dose approaches, but in my case, the pattern is this: I feel terrible for the 5 days following the injection, and from then on—until the day before the next injection—I start to feel better and better. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it because the medication hasn’t taken full effect yet? Is this normal?

Adalimumab late response?

Hi, I've seen a ton of experiences about how quickly (like the day after) humira/adalimumab worked for ra, I've been on this med for a month and, while I've improved a little, i didn't notice anything too drastic, should i worry or anyone else has got a good response that wasn't immediate?

Tips for traveling

Hi, i was wondering how to travel with biologics if i have to take a long flight, any specific mini fridge or item that you used and recommend? All I'm seeing at Amazon has awful reviews and I don't want to ruin my imraldi pen.

Thanks!!

Next step: biologics

I FINALLY got a positive answer from my rheum and, after 1 year struggling and having awful side effects with mtx and not enough response with leflunomide i just got switched to imraldi (humira biosimilar), i had my first dose this Friday and nothing bad to say, I was really tired the next day but i can def deal with that. I'm also keeping leflunomide but 10mg instead of 20mg since my gl issues were a little concerning.

Cross fingers for me cause i really need this to do the trick and put me into remission

Send good vibes pls

Hi, I’m a 30-year-old man living in Spain. This is relevant because healthcare here is public, and while you can switch doctors, it’s neither easy nor automatic. I’m here to ask for some encouragement. I posted last week asking for advice on whether I should keep taking leflunomide or go back to the doctor to ask for something else, and after reading your comments and having already been on this pill for 6 months and feeling like an octogenarian, I’ve decided to go to the doctor tomorrow. But I’m absolutely terrified. Of the last three times I’ve gone, I’ve left in tears twice: the first time because his response to “I’m in unbearable pain; I can’t stop taking ibuprofen” was “you shouldn’t be taking it; I’m not going to give you anything— just don’t take anything for the pain,” and the second time because when I asked why I couldn’t tolerate the nausea from methotrexate, they told me it was impossible for methotrexate to cause nausea—that it must be from something else.

On top of all this, my rheumatologist is OBSESSED with the idea that I have arthritis because I’m trans (90% of my family has some kind of autoimmune disease, and I’m the only one who is trans), so please send me your support so I can ask them to add something else to the leflunomide, preferably a biologic, because my mental health can’t take this anymore.

6 months on leflunomide and still can't even take the stairs

I've been 6 months taking this pills (20mg/day) and well, I've improved, yes, that's true, but I'm a 30 yo who couldn't even dance at their wedding day and that is unable to take the stairs or drive more than 30', at this point i don't know if i should keep with this medication, if i have to implore my doc for an 'upgrade' to biologics or what. Anyone had any med for this that improved after 6 months or that's the best i would get with my current medication?

Ps: I've tried mtx prior and it made me so nauseous i had to stop
