I'm watching for the first time and 3x01 was a pretty big episode that I kind of love/hate. I liked it because of the situation and melting Grey's and Station but I disliked the way it was directed, the present / flashbacks threw me off (it's usually the case, I'm not a fan of this "technique") and quite a lot of the writing was bad. I don't know.
