Btm advice

hi, finished my first year and sadly not eligible for co op since I failed 1 course (not too stressed tho, just gotta bounce back from this L). What would u upper years/alumni think I should know/learn (I honestly have like no IT/coding knowledge) I’m gonna learn the basics of SQL/Python through the bootcamps this summer.

for the questions such as “Food Cost” or “Telephone/Internet Cost”, do I just put 0 since my parents pay for groceries, phone bill, etc? Then for the “Family/Relative contributions”, what does that include? stupid question but I just wanna make sure before I submit anything

(sorry for the yap in advance) hi everyone, im looking for advice as a first year BTM student. I’m not eligible for co op because I failed QMS210 (ended with a 49.1 and I doubt my prof will round me 1%) and my overall gpa is a 2.5 (2.8 is the minimum) Even though I failed 1 class, there’s no point in moping around and feeling sorry for myself, all I can do is look back and reflect on my mistakes and do better. So I was wondering on what I should do like job wise if that makes sense. Job market is obv cooked and ik there’s ways to get internships/co ops without being in the program, but ik it’s a major advantage. Alumni and upper year friends have told me that ur basically cooked without it so what steps would u guys advise me to take? I’m planning to apply to career boost jobs and hopefully I land one, I’m also planning to learn more like tech stuff (eg power bi and sql) provided by the BCH on D2L. Any advice would be greatly appreciated no matter the program. I hope you all have a great summer break! 🙌
