In my old timeline Michael Jordan played for the Colorado Rockies before coming out of retirement from the NBA. He was traded to the Rockies from the White Sox. It never happened in this current timeline. I even had a baseball card with him in the Colorado Rockies uniform. I know for a fact this happened. He wasn't good enough to stay with the White Sox. They traded him and he kept playing baseball poorly until he was convinced to come out of NBA retirement. He wasn't good enough and now in this reality he was ok.
There is a veil over our vision that changes the way we see. For example, if you squint your eyes with "intention" of seeing A in S/\MSUNG you'll see the straight line in the A. Our daily use of devices alters the frequency of what we see. World events can increase the frequency of the veil, making extreme changes to the perception of our reality.

I entered a bookstore and to my right I see a large husky person. This person had an abnormally large ear on the left side of their head. The left ear was bigger than there head while the right ear was normal. They were wearing eyeglasses dressed in baggy clothes like a wizard looking at the magazines. They looked strange in the face like ancient.
I passed them and looked around to see if anyone was staring at them and nothing. I ignore it for a brief moment and look back to where that person was standing and they're gone.
I walk a bit to look behind the magazine stands and nothing. I look toward the register thinking they may be in line and nothing. No way they could have walked out that fast. They looked very comfortable standing there browsing through the magazines. Any ideas?
