Can someone help me understand this?

Please be patient with me as I’m still studying. I’m apostolic Pentecostal of course, baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit.

But, whenever I hear trinitarians explain their view of God. (Which is not 3 gods, what I’ve learned) it’s sounds like we argue over semantics.

I’ve experienced God in my church and have heard God tell me he is one. But, I’ve seen Pentecostal Trinitarians full of the spirit as well. Is it possible God won’t saved them because they believe in the trinity rather than oneness even if they are baptized.

I understand people say titles vs the name of Jesus but I mean people who truly walk in the Lord are they unsaved because they are baptized in the name of the father, son and Holy Spirit? If you ask any apostolic they’ll tell you they’re unsaved and going to hell but it just doesn’t make sense to me

Because I think of before we had the term oneness and trinity, how did people view God. They weren’t declared saved/unsaved because of their belief in the terms because they did not exist.

I know people will argue up and down but it causes so much division, and I can’t imagine God is pleased by it. Even when I ask my pastors, they’ll automatically tell me they’re unsaved if they believe the trinity or they’ll think I’m falling from the faith but I’m not I just have questions. 😭

Switching churches

I’m 24F and all my life I’ve been going to an independent and small apostolic Pentecostal church.

This year I’ve been wanting to grow spiritually and I visited two different churches.

I I also visited two services of a friend of mine, but only to be there with them. My mom is bothered because she says I visited so many churches this year and why won’t I just go to the church we go to now. (Only 4 services)

The church we go to now is joined in with another church because we lost our building and even before then I feel like I couldn’t grow spiritually there and serve cause it’s mostly family. It’s super small and many lack the Holy Ghost.

My mom makes me seem like I’m drifting away from the faith, even though the new church I found is UPCI and believe in the same exact thing. (Baptism in Jesus name, Baptism of Holy Spirit, Apostolic Pentecostal)

Standing on Our Beliefs

I’m apostolic Pentecostal, Holy Spirit filled and baptized in Jesus name. How do you deal with people saying we aren’t Christians because we aren’t trinitarians?

It’s discourages me because I’ve seen the hand of God move tremendously in my life. He’s delivered from sin, I’ve felt true peace since receiving the Holy Spirit, and I KNOW truly that I’ve been close to him in prayer, through dreams!

I get discouraged when people say I’m not a true Christian. How can I not be? I believe in the gospel, and I truly believe that Jesus died for my sins and the sins of the whole world. I believe Jesus is God.

I believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, which I believe to be God as well. It just makes me upset. I have a close friends who is trinitarian and they believe that you have to be trinitarian to be a true Christian.

Has God given up on me?

Born apostolic Pentecostal but didn’t fully know what that meant until I got older.

Got the Holy Spirit when I was 21/22 and was rebaptized in the name of Jesus in January of this year.

The other day I was texting someone and in my mind came, “Count your days”

This has began me to worry. I’m scared that God has given up on me and gotten tired of me. I’ve been struggling with a particular sin in my personal relationship , no formication or anything like that but I’m scared the Lord is done with me because of this.

My mom told me yesterday the word “funeral” came to her mind. And I know the Lord does often speak to her through her mind.

I’m so terrified and I do want to live right, I just keep struggling and I’m praying to God to help deliver me from sin because I want to do his will, I just don’t feel strong enough and now I feel like he’s just too tired of me and given up on me and I don’t know what to do.

I have a very smal church, but we didn’t have enough funding for a building so we gathered together with a church nearby. I’m not too close with the pastor there. I’m so scared
