Just had to flee the stadium while watching the fireworks display in Avondale Estates because of suspected gunshots. Anybody else experience that? Anybody know if they were actually fireworks or gunshots?
Web Gurus of Reddit! I'm looking for a way to create an image distortion effect that follows the mouse. See the attached image for reference. I would like to start with a clean image and then have a perlin noise, or some other kind of vertical distortion follow the mouse as it moves over the image, effecting the image where it touches it. WebGL, Three.JS, Canvas - whichever is the best, most efficient way to get closest to the effect. Links to code or gits that we can reverse engineer would be amazing.
