Wooden Boat Festival is this weekend (Downtown, Percival Landing, Free)

The Wooden Boat Festival is this weekend:

Friday 5-8pm
Saturday 10am-7:30pm
Sunday 11am-5pm

Percival Landing boardwalk on the waterfront

The festival is... pretty much what it sounds like, a bunch of wooden and historic boats come in and dock and are largely open to the public to check out and in some cases go aboard. There are also arts/crafts vendors, food vendors, music, etc. Sounds like they're also doing evening block parties this year. It's somewhat similar to Harbor Days. It's free to attend.

They are not good at promoting this event so I figured I'd do their marketing for them haha

I switched from Google Fi (T-Mobile network, I believe) to Xfinity Mobile (Verizon network) because they gave me a full year for free, no strings attached. (By the way, pretty sure this promo is still available - you just have to have Xfinity home internet).

But boy is the signal terrible as soon as you get outside of the most populated areas. Even downtown in certain buildings the signal cuts out.

I didn't have these issues with Google Fi. Debating switching back even though Xfinity is free...

What is your experience with Verizon around here?
