I ran water through the motor for an extended period of time before starting from a hose, how do I flush all the water out to prevent hydrolocking?

Hey everyone, I just recently bought a pair of 2005 yamaha vx110s and ran water through one of them with the hose attachment for approximately 5 minutes before attempting to start it.

Yes I know, I’m an idiot and didn’t read up on how to start jet skis while not in the water and just assumed you can run water through them before the motor running first, I thought that the water only ran through the cooling system and would just drain normally. Luckily, the motor never turned over because the battery was absolutely dead, so i’m hoping that I didn’t hydrolock the engine.

So far, i’ve pulled the spark plugs and stuck a shop vac while the plugs were removed to try and suck up all the water that’s in the cylinders and have got quite a bit of water out. Then I hooked up a new battery and tried turning over the motor while the plugs are out to try and blow some more of the water out. What are the next steps to do before putting the plugs back in and trying to fire it up? Any help is appreciated and yes, I know i’m stupid lol
