ice well leaking

recently started working at this bar that is recently under new ownership. our ice well leaks from the very base of where the drainage tubes connect. all the random plumbers tape, packing tape, duct tape is from previous management. how can i seal this? should i pry off all the old tape? can i just, like, flex seal it or something?
assuming it screws in, could i get all that stuff out, put new white plumbing tape on the threads, and then would it be fixed?
sorry, i am obviously very new to this kind of stuff. any advice on how to fix it would be great.

i received an eviction notice for smoking in unit, but i haven't.

location: north dakota
hello- i live in an apartment with a shared hallway with other units. under the apartments is two offices. i've lived here for two months, and my lease ends next april.
3 weeks ago, i woke up to a property manager knocking on my door, so i answered. they said they had received complaints of smoking and were inspecting units, so i let them in after asking to go put pants on quickly, lol. the woman walked over to my bedroom, where my window was open, and told me she smells it and if i do smoke to do it somewhere else. she emphasized that the offices downstairs are who complained, so if it doesn't stop they have to start the eviction process. i didn't argue, even though i knew the smell must've come in through the window- i was just pretty sleepy, and wasn't sure how to respond i guess. she also specifically said "you are the newest tenant so we assumed it was coming from you" before leaving, and i watched her leave the building without checking anywhere else. she left with no problem, and i didn't hear or even think anything about it until last friday, when i came home from work to a 3 day notice to vacate for smoking.
i immediately sent a text on the line where i frequently talk with the property manager, saying i haven't smoked in my unit, explaining my window was open so it must've come in from outside the first time, and explaining when/where i have smelled smoke in the past to maybe help them find the actual culprit? and i offered for them to come back to further inspect. well, monday came and they never replied to my text. now it's tuesday and they did text asking if i'm still in the unit or if they have to start the court process.
i have a motion activated camera, so i know no one has been in my unit since that first time, so the only evidence they have (i assume) is two complaints from the downstairs office and the property manager smelling smoke in my room once.
i feel like to me it so obviously wasn't me, but i'm so nervous for court, and unsure what to do. do i have a good chance of them ruling in my favor? should i make sure i have a lawyer to represent me or can i get away with doing it myself? i'd love some advice as i'm so confused and lost.
