Take it to the mechanic

On Monday, 5/11, I got delivered a 2019 Mazda cx5 and I noticed it had some issues with the touch screen. I filed a a claim under service and repair on the Carvana website and it recommended me to a mechanic. I went on Wednesday, 5/13, and the mechanic said that they don’t work on audio, so I had to call SilverRock and they waived the $350 out of network deductible and I took it to a nearby Mazda dealership. All was well.. I thought lmao. Mazda calls me and tells me that I have a head timing gasket that’s leaking and needs to be replaced, my front breaks were at 3mm and needed to be replaced, a drive belt replaced, and a cabin air filter replaced. Now keep this in mind. When Mazda called me and told me about all these issues, they told me that SilverRock would NOT cover the breaks, which would cost me close to 1k, they wouldn’t cover the driving belt, along with the cabin air filter. The whole reason why I got a “newer” car is to not pay $3k in repairs and that’s what I was about to do with a new car. I called SilverRock and I asked them why they wouldn’t cover it and they said that the dealership needed to send more pictures of the issues and that it would not guarantee that it would be covered. I was very fortunate that SilverRock ended up covering everything and I didn’t pay anything. Now from my experience I don’t know if I would go through Carvana again because there’s no way they should be selling cars in that condition and possibly not cover it. So take Carvana and their used cars with a grain of salt and take it to the dealer ASAP. Because I’m within the 7 days and if they wouldn’t have covered the breaks and everything else I would’ve just returned the car and not gone through Carvana again.

Silver rock coverage

Yesterday I got my new car delivered from Carvana and I got a 2019 Mazda cx5. I connected my phone via Bluetooth and I noticed it has volume issues JUST with Bluetooth. I also noticed it was doing the “ghost touch” that’s common in Mazdas with the display screen. I was wondering if anyone has gone through the warranty and what their experience was like for an issue thats similar to mine. Im curious if they will fix this issue for me.
