Don’t have 20% for next home…

Hi all,

My husband and I have profited $17,300 from our current home (seller proceeds total is $42,309).

We have lived in an area where it is halfway point between my husbands work and my work. I have done my 1 hour to 1.5 hour commute for 4 years now!! I can’t do it anymore. Especially with a 1 year old.

My husband likes to drive and has a better drive (traffic wise), so we are moving closer to my work.

The new house we are looking at, we can only put down about 17% on the down payment, and mortgage will be a little over 25% of our take home pay. Is this an AWFUL idea?

We are not looking at a crazy expensive home, very normal house, safe area, and not THE BEST school district, but good enough.

We put it an offer, but haven’t heard back yet. If they counter, we can back out.

My experience with Milktab

I wanted to share my experience with Milktab.

This is coming from someone who has explosive diarrhea and cold sweats an hour after drinking milk.

First day, I ate ice cream. I did not get a stomach ache, but I remember just thinking omg ice cream is so heavy! I’m used to eating cashew milk ice cream from “so delicious”.

Next day, I ate cream cheese with bagel. Did not get a stomach ache!! Amazing. I was loving life and went crazy.

The next few days, I would eat dairy heavy things once a day. I started to get a slight stomach ache after eating dairy, but it would not result in diarrhea.

I could tell my stomach felt funny after day 3/4.

Then maybe a week of taking Milktab everyday and eating dairy, I had pretty bad diarrhea….

So honestly, it only delays the inevitable it seems.

Need your help deciding on a ship!

Hi all! My husband and I are looking into sailing next February or March. It will be our first Disney cruise (first ever cruise for my husband).

I’m always attracted to the newest and shiniest things, but I have heard that newer ships doesn’t necessarily mean better with Disney.

We will be taking our 17-18month old baby with us. We plan to take full advantage of the nursery so that my husband and I can unwind and enjoy ourselves too. Looking for nice restaurants, bars,

For a 4-5 day cruise (preferably in Bahamas/Carribean) what ship do you recommend for adults? Is there one more geared towards adults or children than others?

Any other advice you have is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!
