I ued AI for medication reminders and it was a stress buster!

As a retired senior caregiver to my wife, she has a lot of meds to remember, and she was forgetting them all the time, and then she would have side effects from not taking the meds. Setting up reminders in Google Calendar was clumsy and frustrating. I discovered that by giving Chat GPT a certain command, it would create the reminder in Google Calendar quickly and easily. It was a little work getting it all done, but now she gets a reminder on her phone, and I don't have to worry about her meds. Now I've got to do it for mine.

anyone else feel mentally overloaded all the time?

One of my biggest stresses as a caregiver has been to get medications refilled when they're needed. Pharmacies sometimes take a week to get the meds in. Or the prescriptions need refills, and the requests take time to get back from the doctor. What I do now when I pick up a prescription is enter the name, quantity, and date into Chat GPT. I then ask it to send me a reminder to call for a refill a week before it runs out. That way the pharmacy usually has enough time to get it in. This saved me from a lot of fights with the pharmacist.

What's For Dinner?

Planning meals drives me nuts. Last week, I typed the leftovers I had into Chat GPT, and asked it to give me 3 quick to prepare low fat recipes using those ingredients. I tried one, and it was pretty good! Has anyone else used Chat GPT this way?

How I simplified doctor paperwork

Medical paperwork drives me crazy, but I found a way to simplify it. I either copy and paste the text I need explained into Chat GPT or upload it by clicking on the + sign in the Chat GPT field, then selecting the file to upload. Once it's in Chat GPT, I type "Simplify and summarize this document in language that a person with no medical experience would understand, and please use bullet points". This can also work for insurance documents, simplifying the appeal process, or any other medical paperwork that is confusing and difficult to understand.
