Honestly bro FUCK this DOOM and GLOOM!! We (yes we) will be fine!!
Before anyone jumps at me, this past week or so i have been feeling it. Almost sad in a way, and very low energy. I attribute that in part to deviating from my themis schedule, focusing on flashcard making and doing MEEs and MBEs, so it feels like I am doing less. But of course, the biggest driver of that feeling is the exam being a few days away. And safe to say, based on this sub's vibes and convo's with some friends of mine, everyone is feeling it. But i rebuke this doom and gloom for all of us!!
If you have put in the work, you need to trust that you put in the work. Trust that the long days and (yes AND) the needed rest days culminated into being ready for the bar. We all know the law, it is there hidden in the brain somewhere. Yes we are tired, yes we are missing questions we know and issues that we have spotted before, and yes we still do not know what RAP really is.
But it genuinely does not matter. These last few days or past week cannot define a WHOLE summer's worth of effort and sacrifice.
So let's crush it, and let's put get through it once and for all!!
When you get a question wrong because it's a concept you don't know but the concept is lowkey interesting
Me going into the exam not remembering anything except for the fact I doom scrolled enough to be a 1% commenter on this subreddit
Can a defendant move to federal court and subsequently move for improper venue?
Title basically. There was a themis question about this but I can't find it. My understanding is that these are still two different analyses, but part of me also thinks that one who removes to federal court consents to the PJ of that court, so venue would always be proper even if the events/property and domicile of the defendant are elsewhere
To those that did not pass the first time and/or passed on their retake, what’s your take?
Hearing from all the homies who passed first try has been really great! But I wanted to hear from those that didn’t pass the first time, and those who already retook and passed.
Was not passing a complete left field shock, or did you sort of knew there was an area you were struggling that corresponded to where your score was short on the exam? And, what did you do differently the second time?
Themis MEE Exam 2
Holy fuck I twisted up issues and my rule statements were so shoddy. How'd everyone else fair on it? I seemed fine on essays but this was a lineup from hell 😭. The constitutional law q was fine though
Anyone feel like they aren't doing enough?
This is very much just the july worries at play but even though i am well on track with my Themis and my metrics look fine, it still feels like I need to be doing so much more.
I have to imagine I am the only one so I wanted to make this post so we dont let the july scaries send us crazy
Fuck Con Law
that's it that is the post. Had to pause my problem set just to get this off my chest
It’s June 28
Time to lock in twins, how’s everyone feeling?
Themis MBE is bullshit sometimes
Some of these questions are written where the key fact linked to the issue can be construed in more than one way. Or sometimes a question that is asking about X will include a poorly written concept about Y even though the question is just about X. It’s so ass
Sometimes I be knowing the law
but then I still don't be knowing the rules 😭✋
How it feels to finish studying for the day and then coming on this sub
Does my ID on exam day need to be the same as the one I uploaded to the website during registration?
Just thinking ahead. I moved and needed to transfer my out of state license. I am in NY if that matters.
How do I self assess my MPT?
Hey y'all, just got done with doing a full MPT after just doing the outline and workshop of the previous 2. I've done MPTs before thanks to the Helix Bar Prep my school offered during the school year, so I feel mostly comfy with what I am doing. T
That being said, how do I know if I am doing well. Do I just assess my answer from the model answer and see how close it is? Do I get hung up on whether the model answer came to a different fact conclusion, or is what I pulled that matters? Is it okay to analyze differently but still seemingly effectively?
Thanks!
High Fives has crack in it
Mayaaaa, Mayaaaaa 😭😭🤧🤧🤧😩😩😩
