i was never a battle girlie to begin with, so building combat teams and managing the protocores was something that i never fully understood even to this day tbh, which is why i used the preset and auto combat features 😭 and even then i would still lose 💀

but after so many tries, i finally earned my first SHC 36/36!!! took me 2 years in total 🫠

This part in the final chapter of A Thought Across really made my brain think. I have finished reading the myth and my mind is absolutely blown away!

It has been theorized that their timeline isn't exactly linear, but I kept wondering whether the events of Vermillion Martial God happens after God of the Tides and Lemurian Sea God.

In this part, Cui Jiu explained that Rafayel still has a soul anchor which is why he is unable to ascend to the heavens. He then mentions how Rafayel's soul anchor (MC) is "The one who died for you upon that errant path", which made me think of the events of Tears of Romirro when MC finally sacrificed herself for Rafayel, as fate intended.

Perhaps after MC's sacrifice in Tears of Romirro, their reincarnation proceeded to the events of A Thought Across. "You and she are destined to meet here..."

Even Cui Jiu mentioned how, "Your legacy shall be carried upon her shoulders, and she will never know freedom." This may refer to the fact that MC had to suffer the exact same fate as Rafayel did in A Thought Across, but it may also nudge on the fact that MC has to become some sort of sacrifice for Rafayel's existence through her heart, like what happened in all of the other myths.

Even in the end, Rafayel was determined to give MC another life path that wasn't as dreadful as the one in A Thought Across. Aside from the events in the Vermillion Martial God myth, this last part also made me think where Rafayel literally rewrote the Tome of the Sea God in Sea of Golden Sands (Abysswalker), which can mean that he literally gave MC another life path that doesn't involve her sacrificing herself.

Anywho, this sort of made me think of all the possible life paths Rafayel would encounter, as Cui Jiu mentioned. A Thought Across is supposedly the path where he defied fate. Tears of Romirro may be the path where he drifted away from fate by accident (errant), but ultimately MC succumbed to her fate. I haven't really been able to determine his other myths and which life path they are supposed to be.

There has been speculation that their upcoming 4th myths would be more evol-centered and judging by Raf's 4th myth PV it may be true! So many fire elements in his new myth! Can't wait to see how the other's would turn out 😍
