Is it worth ordering from us then ship to Canada?

Hello, looking at buying a whole set from US while FOTR is available, racking up about to 700$ CAD.

I can’t ship it to Canada, but could I get it shipped to my friends house and have him ship it to me? And would it be costly to do so if he’s shipping 5 boxes (campaigns and sagas, ered mithrin heroes, and all starter decks)

I considered the Angmar and dreamchaser hero expansions, but read the former is meh and don’t plan on getting dreamchaser campaign due to sailing. Should I reconsider? Please let me know.

I am not sure how to remove this tailpiece and was wondering if anyone knew?

It is a wooden tailpiece if that helps. I have tried sliding it off and used a some strength, but I am concerned if I try to do anymore I may break it. I’m not even sure if that’s how you remove it.
