So i did. I really figured maybe he has a PR team or something checking socials but its legit him answering just like he said. He sent a voice message and even tried to say my screenname just to prove its him.
Huge kudos to him for actually tackling that because I imagine he gets a fair amount of messages every day.
Was up early and scrolling when this notification came in this morning. Maybe it was a super secret Sunday morning game just for me...😂
When I saw clue 4, I thought I had it for sure. Even more frustrating is my ex is a nurse... once upon a time I used to know more about stethoscopes than I thought was humanly possible (she was VERY particular about hers and never passed up an opportunity to nerd out about them)
Ordered from Wendy's tonight. Had some things going on at home so I can't leave, no big deal. I usually keep my phone close just in case...
Order is assigned, see they are across the street from the restaurant... cool. Next chance I get to look at the app, a different driver is on the way. Odd since the 1st was so close but not unheard of. Shortly after this driver gets there, they unassign. No texts received, no phone calls... just unassigned. Figured I'd text the next driver but it was on finding another driver for a while... so I called the restaurant to see if they were having any problems (I've worked food service, the rare power outage or something happens). Guy at the restaurant says they had 3 drivers stop by, so apparently I missed one on the app... says each time they told the driver they were out of chocolate chip cookies and offered a sugar cookie as a replacement.
Chocolate chip cookies... that was it.. the entire problem.
And not one single time did the driver text or call to see if the replacement was okay.. instead they unassigned.
I texted the next driver assigned and told them the replacement was okay.
In the end, I still get my order... just wild to me 3 drivers didn't text or call over a cookie. And I try to tip well, so they missed out.
