My wife was referred to ENT about a month ago by her GP for throat pain. This got much worse over the last weekend so on Monday Pharmacy referred her to local hospital urgent care who referred her on to a different local GP. This GP put in an Emergency throat cancer referral that she was mean to hear back on yesterday (We'd 20th) she did not hear back. Today she called and was told at least 14 days minimum to hear anything and there were no spots available. Is this normal? What should we do?
