Type 12 “Whitby” Class Frigate

Hi all.

1:144 Semi scale HMS Tenby

I’ve strayed from my normal modelling of balsa and plasticard and have started a 3d printed model of a Type 12 frigate.
Made suitable progress so far but I’m wondering on the consensus for bollard colour, I normally just go with grey but I’ve also seen people going with white.
Can’t decide

Look for a certain book

Hi all,

I remember reading a WW2 historical fiction book based on a RN salvage tug working on convoy duty.

Cannot for the life of me remember the name, its very old

Many thanks

Received some 3d print parts and now I’m sold

Received some type 82 destroyer parts and it’s totally changed my view on the future of my modelling.
I normally build from Basla and Styrene if I’m scratch building but I’m now seriously considering getting a 3d printer!
