Brake bleeding
I recently gave my speed 400 to a well reviewed garage for service, which included brake bleeding for both sides.
I provided them the engine oil along with 1 bottle of Bajaj dot 4 brake fluid 100ml.
After the service and going for a test ride the brakes have become less effective, the front brakes take 2-3 secs while the rear takes 4-5secs with full pressing.
I highlighted the issue on the spot and upon checking the disc had oil which was later cleaned but it didn't fix the issue
I asked the mechanic if there was any air in the system, to which he denied saying he did the bleeding using a machine.
I asked him how much brake fluid he added, he showed me the bajaj dot 4 fluid which was used only half.
Later the mechanic said drive for a bit and your brakes will be back to good.
Now I am wondering if he bleed both the brakes or he just removed the old fluid and did a top up,i mean how only half of the brake fluid was used when a proper bleeding should have finished the whole bottle.
