I'm a main Ekko jungler on Emerald Island. I've always played that role, but at the beginning of the year I took a break from ranked play.

I even tried to gradually get back into it over the last few months, but I always stopped. And in the last few weeks I've only been playing Ekko mid to learn how to play mid, and because I like Ekko mid's early game.

But sometimes I get jungle matches and I feel really weak, it seems like all the champions are stronger than Ekko in the jungle. I know it's always been like this, but it's never been a problem.

Maybe it's the rank; I reached Emerald right before I stopped playing ranked, I must be just experiencing firsthand what this cursed rank does to people... But I want to know if you guys... Is Ekko really weak in the jungle? Or is Emerald just a cursed elo player?

I'm slowly getting back into ranked play, aiming for Master rank.

Can you tell me about your jungle experience, like the runes and builds you've been using or your gameplay style

I usually do a full clear before anything else, and when I'm fed, I force plays.

I play with a friend who always complains about me always trying to use my ultimate to deal damage (and sometimes mistiming it).I've been an Ekko main for about 3 years and I know my champion's damage output. So I try to make plays and explore ways to use my ultimate to deal damage. That's why he complains, because sometimes I use my ultimate to reposition myself (even when I have full health).

I don't know, I think it's stupid to use the ultimate just to heal or get out of a bad situation, when we can make plays where the enemy stops on top of us and takes the R in the mouth, or to replenish ourselves.

Do you agree with him?

I lost track of time, are D&D + Shadowflame still the main items for Ekko jungle?? Are people using HoB with LB in the jungle now?? Are we back to Protobelt? I haven't seen anyone mention Nashor, and i miss it.

They still use Dark Harvest with secondary quests focused on extra gold?

Me perdi na linha do tempo, d&d + shadowflame ainda são os principais itens do Ekko jungle?? Tão usando HoB com LB na jungle agora?? Voltamos pro Protobelt? Nunca mais vi alguém falando de Nashor, eu amo esse item. Esse buff no LB não matou o D&D?

E sobre as runas? Ainda usam colheita com secundária focada em gold extra?

Eu sei que hoje em dia a wr do ekko anda ruim contra a maioria dos jungle atualmente, mas eu sou só tipo que gosta de se adaptar ao caos...

Testei os novos recursos e as novas mudanças e senti o HOB bem mais interessante na Jungle do que DH com esse True Damage da runa. e a runa em si já ajuda a procar a passiva rápido, então não há necessidade de D&D. (Lich > Nashor > Shadowflame or Rabadon)

O mesmo vale pro mid, mas lá eu gosto de brincar com Stormsurge + Shadowflame + Magic Pain Boots (Lich first item), o mid é onde eu realmente sinto um gosto pela Penetração Mágica Flet. Ainda não testei a bota de vampirismo no mid

Uma coisa que me chamou a atenção que eu fiz como um teste, foi a build de conqueror. Que em breve eu falarei melhor, pois só joguei uma partida.

Eu tinha parado de jogar ekko devido aos nerfs nele e no D&D, mas jogando de Ekko Bruiser, eu senti uma parada interessante

Com: D&D > Riftmaker > Bloody Curse, junto com Conqueror e bota de vampirismo, eu resisti bastante nas lutas, e dei até que um dano aceitável. Claro que no early game eu tava tendo que cozinhar até conseguir fechar o D&D.

Mas me surpreendeu a forma que deu certo, e foi numa partida até que difícil

Eu queria fazer Shadowflame de quarto item, mas tinha 2 tank insuportáveis, então optei por Liandry

E por incrível que pareça, essa vida extra da build tava interessante

Na próxima vez, vou testar o Crescimento excessivo na secundária, junto com golpe de escudo. Como disse, só joguei uma partida com essa build

Mid: HoB (Lich > Stormsurge > Shadowflame or Rabadon)

Jungle: HoB (Lich > Nashor > Shadowflame or Rabadon)

Bruiser: Conq (D&D > Riftmaker > Shadowflame or Bloody Curse)

Eu testei o novo Ímpeto também, mas não senti tanta força, especialmente no EarlyGame
