AP 7600(7640?) has nothing on the display until people insert money.

Is there a way to get the display to show 0.00 when there's no money in. Right now it is off and many people have asked me "is the machine even on".

I've downloaded the manual and have read the manual and it only talks about using the service mode to determine what motor is broken on which row.

Thank you in advance for any help!

Does anyone play any custom 2v2 or 3v3 maps?

Mother's basement is full of old German books

I feel bad throwing all of these out, but we have German books from the '40s, '50s, '60s and '70s in my mom's basement for the past two decades. She said she is going to go and donate them. They are currently living in Pennsylvania, does anybody know of a place that may be interested in old ass German books? These are not German education books, but they are just books written in German, ranges from history books to romance novels.

I always scoured the internet for recipes until I found this...

I promise you this is not an ad. But this is the best beef jerky I ever had.

https://www.psseasoning.com/collections/processing-kits?sort\_by=best-selling&filter.v.price.gte=&filter.v.price.lte=

All the recipes I've used required soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. But this tastes like there's very little of that in there and it tastes fresh, I don't know how to describe it. I've been searching to try to find the recipe online so I don't have to keep buying it but I might need to.

Has anybody else tried this or any of its varieties.

Does anybody have any links to good recipes that don't use a lot of soy sauce?

If you feel this is an ad can you please at least just take it down and give me a warning and I'll never post a link again.

Edit: people keep throwing recommendations on different jerky products. I hope this can be seen as the same. Sorry, when I hit post it said that I might be breaking a rule and that I'll be Perma banned instantly if I do. Just trying not to cuz I appreciate this sub even though I don't visit often.

Goodbye blood pressure meds! For now...

Does anyone else not need their blood pressure meds during the summer?

Yes! My job is literally killing me 🫠

Which flare should I have used for this? I can't really see anyone that's appropriate.

Does anybody have any running gags that they use throughout the years?

I have a couple things that I do:

  1. Whenever somebody asks what the date is, I always tell them that it is the 23rd. It's going on 4 years now. I trained one class well enough that whenever anybody asks what's the date they will say in unison, the 23rd.

  2. When a student has a water bottle and I'm walking by their desk, I will casually knock it over and then apologize. Many times I'll do it when handing out papers. I'll just reach my paper out and maybe knock it over with my forearm, accidentally. Many times it turns into a game of can Mr. Opeboyal knock over my water bottle today. And they love it when I have a water bottle because they will come up to ask a question and try to casually knock it over.

  3. (Deprecated) I used to have the department printer in my classroom and whenever anybody came in to grab a paper from the printer they would all just chant, "why" over and over again until the person left. And they stole my heart when my vice principal came in and they started doing it until he left. I once had somebody cover my classroom for 3 minutes so I could run to the bathroom and when I came back they were still chanting why. For 3 minutes! The teacher had no idea what was going on and nobody would tell them.

As I've grown over the years and started resenting many aspects of the teaching profession, it's these little things that make it enjoyable for me.

Make the compass useful.

We all know that at times we have issues finding our partners pings/guns they marked. It would be great if they got also marked on the compass so as you spin around when you're facing it, it's right there on the compass. Even having a graphic there for your actual partner would be hugely helpful. Just a suggestion that would be great to implement.
