Is this still considered touching grass?
New to the mini-14 world and 8 year old me is super happy now. Took the 11.5 SBR out to the range and it’s everything I always wanted, ( sans a giggle switch ) . The Tisha Ti is super light and it’s like there’s nothing even there. Just needs a sling and it will be perfect.

Gaze upon my BBK
I put this thing together a while ago and I just found this sub while searching for reloading data. It’s a Faxon 12” barrel on my existing .308 lower with extra heavy 10oz buffer and Cat BBK. Not exactly ground breaking stuff around here I’m sure, but it runs super reliable and is only a few DB louder than suppressed .22lr.
Here’s a short clip of a comparison between my .300blk (220 gr) and 8.6 (300 gr) hitting the same piece of steel. This thing hits so hard.
