Optimal Procedure for Recessed Chin (and weak jawline)
I (23M) HATE my profile shot. My chin is recessed, and as a consequence, my jawline is very undefined, and it is really apparent from the profile. I do currently have braces on, which are slightly pushing my lips more forward than normal, making the recession look worse, but it's still quite bad even without the braces.
I'm weighing genioplasty / chin implant. I am a little squeamish, so the chin implant option seems safer, at worst, they can pull it out, and I think my skin is elastic enough to fully recover.
I am not trying to look like Brad Pitt, I just want a jawline, any jawline. I'm hoping a chin augmentation, which feels the safest, will stretch my skin and make it hug my mandible more tightly. I fear that my jaw might be in such condition though that I may need something far more invasive to correct it :\
Additionally, I'm definitely going to need rhinoplasty as well, but I'm more worried about my lower third right now
