FSD went crazy
I’ve been a huge supporter of Tesla FSD for a long time and I use it almost every day. Honestly, I trust it far more than most people probably do. Most of my experiences have been extremely impressive, which is why today’s drive shocked me soooo much.
Today I was driving my model Y juniper through a residential street with multiple speed humps. FSD completely failed to recognize the 2 humps and barely slowed down at all — the car hit them so hard it honestly felt like the vehicle almost went airborne. It did this twice in a row.
What made it even worse was that immediately after the second hump, there was a stop sign directly ahead, and FSD also looked like it was about to blow through the stop sign without stopping. That’s when I intervened and hit the brakes myself.
This was probably the worst FSD moment I’ve personally experienced.
Has anyone else experienced something similar recently? Especially with FSD not reacting properly to speed humps or missing stop signs on smaller neighborhood roads?
I was driving in hurry mode.
