My ear lobs are swollen red, and doc said it is a allergic reaction, but idk to what. Earlier this week, at 2am iching suddenly started on my ear lobs after removing my earrings I checked and I was bleeding a bit (from both my piercings). I washed it water and handsoap, then applied antiseptic for cuts and stuff and slept, next morning it became worst so i visited doc, they provide pills and prescribed a cream to apply.

Now I have long nails so it can be that after itching it got infected...? Or my headphones or as I said maybe I suddenly developed an overnight (literally) allergy to gold or metal...?

Edit: forgot to mention, I had been wearing for 1+ year continuously until recently, like a month or two ago I removed them for a while.
