My 7 year old son brings me the notes I write him, to save them :)
He says he wants to keep them forever and read them when he’s older. He carries them out in his hand everyday and hands them to me as soon as he gets in the car. It made me smile.

Cabinets will be white, light oak island, gold hardware! Floors will be light wood as well. I love open and airy looks and decorate with a lot of light blues and pinks
Here’s the 2 kitchen counters I’m torn between. Both quartz
I am building a home and really want to avoid the regular subway tiles they’re putting in if possible because I’ve had them in about the last 5 places I’ve ever lived and I’m wanting something new.
I added a photo of my house so you can kinda see my style.
I was thinking doing this backsplash with a very light gray grout to outline the pattern. White quartz counters & a light oak island.
What do you think? I’m worried because it feels a bit risky compared to the standard tiles.
I’ve made this hair appointment and cancelled it twice already. I really want to go lighter but I’ve never dyed my hair before and I’ve been reading horror stories about it damaging curls.
What should I do guys help?? Here’s some pictures in different lighting!
So my husband (40M) made a comment today about a woman mowing the yard and said it was “strange” because she was a woman mowing the grass.
I ask him what year he was living in and what on earth was weird about a woman cutting the grass. I told him since he’s a man, why doesn’t he mow ours? Why does he pay another man to come mow it?
He didn’t say much to that other than he thinks it’s weird to see women mowing the yard.
It really ticked me off and I’m not sure how to feel about it or why he even would think that.
I’m worried he’s misogynistic in ways..
