Swindon named one of England’s best places to raise a family

I have to say I’d agree! I moved to Swindon in 2022 - mostly because my grandfather lived here - and everyone seemed so surprised that I would willingly move here from New Zealand. But I have to say over the past 4 years I’ve really come to love this town. There’s great transport connections by road and rail to London, Bristol, the rest of the South West/West Midlands and beyond; beautiful outdoor spaces right on our doorstep, not just with Lydiard Park and Coate Water, but the Cotswolds Lakes and the Ridgeway; excellent sports teams in Swindon Town and the Swindon Wildcats; and a lot of history and culture we can be proud of in our railway heritage.

Received my first Irish passport about 3 days before I flew out to NZ so I decided to use it for my return to the UK!

Ngl it was actually amazing - and the look on the guy’s face when I pulled out not one but three passports was pretty funny 🤣 I hope you guys all get a rush when you use it the first time haha (or maybe I’m just weird)
