I've been thinking about this theory a lot lately and came up with a possible way to test it. Before I get to that I wanted to ask, why our consciousness jump in the first place? Why wouldn't it just end at some point?

My idea would be to tell all of your siblings about this theory. If each sibling experiences all of the others passing away, then the theory would seem to be confirmed. Of course, we wouldn't be able to verify it with one another, but the last surviving sibling in that universe would know, based on this information, that they must have "jumped" at some point.

Does that make sense? Have any of you thought about this before?
