I'm 32(M) and we've been trying to conceive for almost 6 months now. Her doctor advised us to get tests and so I had undergone an SA.

Here are my results:

Macroscopic Examination

* Liquefaction Time: >60 minutes (Reference: <30 min)

* Viscosity: Non-viscous

* Appearance: Gray-opalescent

* Total Volume: 7.70 mL (Reference: ≥1.50 mL)

* pH: 8.00 (Reference: 7.20–8.00)

* Progressive Motility: 3% (Reference: ≥32%)

* Non-progressive Motility: 14% (Reference: ≥8%)

* Total Motile Sperm: 17% (Reference: ≥40%)

* Immotile: 83%

* Sperm Concentration: 1.45 million/mL (Reference: ≥15 million/mL)

* Total Sperm Count: 11.17 million/ejaculate (Reference: ≥39 million)

* Abnormal Forms: 98%

I'm devastated. My wife and I cried yesterday. Now I'm at work and this is all I can think of. I'm trying to be positive by thinking a recent slight fever may have affected the results, and that I was a bit sleep deprived at the time and stressed due to work, but I feel like they shouldn't affect the results this severely.

We'll see our doctor soon and I'll talk to a urologist. I hope this is treatable...
