Cold fried chicken.

Growing up we'd sometimes get Safeway fried chicken buckets, which would lead into left over chicken put in the fridge. And this was when I was 8-10, so my little sister and I would often wake up before my parents on weekends, and if I was hungry, I'd fix us breakfast. Now, what little kid doesn't like fried chicken? I'd grab my sister and I the left overs, and we'd eat it straight out of the fridge!🤣🤣 I couldnt reach the microwave so this was the solution.

I guess I had it often enough, that when I did that again 10 or so years after, (I was too lazy to microwave it) the memories came rushing back. How odd what our brains hold onto.

This was on r/nostalgia, but they booted me off cause "not enough karma". Bahh.

Beginner.... tips are appreciated

Apart from anatomy errors... mostly looking for tips on coloring. First off, major change I'd make for next time is giving it a blue base istead of the gray. However, I'm having a hard time making my light colors shine through once I put a dark color down. For example, the wing. I was trying to replicate the dark shadow with the white feathers, but it turned into a muddled mess.... I've worked other mediums but never oil, I appreciate any help!

For pastelles I had a set I bought from Michaels. I forget the brand, it was $15 for 20 colors.

My 3 year experience

I got the implant May 2023, and as of today I have removed the implant. Here's what happened from start to finish:

Getting the implant was quick and easy, my doctors did a wonderful job making it painless. Within the first 3 months, my cycle changed. My periods lasted two weeks long. My emotions were a WRECK. I was more sensitive to my husband (boyfriend at the time) and became easily upset. This emotional phase passed after 3 months.

With my cycle, previously my body was like a clock. Everything always happened at the exact time as the last (unless i started hanging around a new group of gals). After the implant, it was impossible the entire time to predict when it would come. I mentioned my period lasting two weeks straight– it was two on, one off for awhile. Then it changed to one on, one off, with the first one being a light period and the second one a horrible heavy one. My cramps went away completely, rarely ever cramped (they used to be my telltale sign). Then I had a few random singular months where I didn't have any at all.

My sex drive tanked. (This is primarily why I've had it removed). However, it was over a long course of time. I have fallen more and more in love with my husband, and it really was disappointing me that I didn't get turned on like how I had a few years ago. Because I love my hunk of a man, my body just never felt up to it. These past 6 months were the lowest drive I've ever felt. Hopefully taking it out will fix it.

Overall though, it did what it was supposed to. We stopped using condoms for a while, while I was being finished inside, and never had a pregnancy scare. Completely stopped worrying about it. I've seen some women have weight gain, I never had it. However, I am in the military and do A LOT of heavy physical labor, so I could be an outlier. My procedure to have it removed was great, didn't feel a thing.
