The title says it all

Moving to Las Cruces. What is the mosquito situation there?

Does the heat and lack of humidity affect the harp? I'm especially interested in pedal harps.

I read this book about 30-40 years ago. It was a paperback published by Penguin (as far as I remember) and about 1.5-2 inches thick (maybe 300-400 pages). As I recall, it was written before the 1950s.

All suggestions welcomed. If it's not the book I read back then, I will probably read it now. Thanks

My Zephirine Drouhin rose is 4 years old and 6 feet tall.

Currently it is in Rhode Island (zone 7a, hot humid summers, snowy winters, 3 feet above sea level).

This fall/winter I am moving to Las Cruces NM, (zone 8b, hot and dry year round, high desert, 3000 feet above sea level).

I would like advice on how to help the plant survive the move. Thanks
