Curious about PM
My RSS has got me confused. My SM is out of town, and I'll talk with my ASM tomorrow, but this is the situation. A customer brought in a quote from our lead competition, I used interchange to make sure that we could double verify the part, made sure it was the part listed at the price on the quote, and my RSS refused to price match. Ours was 4x the price. He wouldn't budge, only offering a 50% discount. Needless to say it cost us the sale. Is this normal practice? I thought the training modules all say we price match with competitors regardless?
