I left my full-time temp position halfway through Term 1 due to burnout and awful exec, with a view to taking a few months off to recover and rediscover my passion for teaching. I had been at the school for five years prior to quitting.

This week, I got my ClassCover profile looking all snazzy and began emailing schools in my area with my CV and references to let them know that I am ready and available for casual work.

And then this morning, I discover that the fucking Department has rescinded my email and staff portal access with zero notice or explanation, which means that I can’t check my emails for replies and I can’t access Google Drive (so I won’t be able to read any day-plans from teachers I’m covering). Great.

I’m calling EdConnect tomorrow to (hopefully) get it sorted, but just felt the need to vent here! AAAAARGH!
