What happens to your body if you shift through AP?

Out of pure curiosity, and also because I've been considering giving AP a shot.

From my understanding in shifting when you do that any other way I guess, your body is just gonna do day to day life on autopilot. This may be a stupid question, but assuming you AP and leave your body behind, and shift through AP, does the same thing happen? Personally for me I can only do attempts late at night, so I usually sleep a few, wake up at night and do an attempt (mostly been doing void state and trying hypnagogia). I've been able to induce symptoms and stuff, but no actual shifts yet. So, I'm kinda wondering if my body would do the same thing (I don't really know what happens to my body here during AP in the first place, so that's also helpful), like would my body just go to sleep after the attempt, and just wake up and do stuff normally later if I didn't shift back before my usual wake up time in my CR? 🤔

The void glitch was patched and now I'm annoyed.

As the title says. Some of you might recognize me from the ponytown getting stale post or not, not the point rn. I've decided to give ponytown another shot, and have been pretty active on the 18+ server for a longer while recently. By chance, I entered the library and saw people using the void glitch, for those unfamiliar:

Void glitch was when you put a plate to the wall in the library or mines with the lantern on it, then you'd swap the lantern for a plateable item like a food or a small object, swap again, walk and you could walk out of the map into the black area.

Personally, I actually really liked and enjoyed that bug, why? Because people in "the void" were actually speaking with eachother without making it a big deal that you're a stranger or something, at least on 18+. Sure, some small skirmishes and discourses did happen, but for awhile, the game wasn't "afk simulator" anymore. People were creative with their skins, made puppet shows, all those among us skins that walked around petting you. For awhile, it was genuinely fun. That's until I found out today they patched the goddamn thing... and, yeah, back to afk simulator it is.

It's just sad imo cause for a little while the community felt like a community.

Anyone else feels like ponytown just... kinda gets stale after awhile?

Not quitting yet or anything, but personally I started thinking ponytown is getting a bit stale. Sure, the devs added more stuff, there's islands and all that... but unless you've got this huge friend group there's not really much to do for me. Though that's less a game issue and more a community issue.

I've joined in 2021, compared to some others I'm a newbie, I know. My account was technically created around october/Halloween event, but I logged in, collected a few candies, got bored and realized this would've been better to play with friends and quit. Then I came back with a friend, played for awhile, then started playing alone after seeing a fandom spot that me & my friend don't have in common that my friend refused to get into. I got into this friend group, at least thought I did, but as far as most friend groups go... yeah lol it fell apart. Some went their separate ways, some had discourses or dramas and stopped speaking to eachother, some formed their own smaller friend groups.

I've seen plenty of complaints or posts about people just sitting around doing nothing afk and buying supporter basically solely just to hog a spot so you know they're afk - which, once that falling out with my friend group + discord server controversies others had started happening... I noticed even more because it was increasingly harder to make friends after that point. So yeah, valid.

Social interaction, at least from my perspective (unless it's from my friends who honestly have also stopped playing for the same reason) is basically impossible to achieve nowadays too. That or I meet people who openly and unashamedly admit to doing or liking problematic stuff to the point of having it up on their profile like it's an achievement. Not gonna mention any discourses or police anyone, but it's more so I don't wanna and don't interact with these people... too bad they're pretty frequent. Block button exists, I use it, whatever.

All the fandom corners I was into basically died, too. Anyway, anyone else reached this point where they genuinely just kinda make themselves stay in the game for a few minutes and then just leave afterwards? Feel free to use this post to voice your frustrations 'n stuff.
