I found a pile of trimmed Fiddle branches on a sidewalk one day a few months ago, and grabbed a branch to try to propagate it. It was in a rather sunny, forgotten area of the house, I added water when needed but usually forgot it's there. There was a small heat wave, then I thought to peak at it and saw all the leaves had dried up and dropped off. Is it salvageable? The roots seem okay but the stick looks totally dried up.
