First of all, why did the writers stereotyped their own characters? In S4 Rafe was portrayed as this calm Neathian while Paige is the unga bunga angry type of Gundalian. This isn't what S3 did at all. Gundalians had characters like Sid but it also had more calm characters like Lena, Nurzak, Jesse or heck even Barodius.

The idea was to show the result of allegiance between Neathia and Gundalia after everything happened in S3 which is cool but these characters got the worst traits of their species somehow. They are incredibly judgemantal towards Shun and Marucho right after they meet them, Paige calls Shun weak and Rafe is like "these guys were supposed to be the best" instead of thinking "they must have been having problems this whole time, what can we do?" like the "smart" person he is supposed to be compared to Paige.

And second, they had no respect to Brawlers at all. These guys helped saving your homeland while you were just sitting there. Especially Paige calling Dan crazy after he told he saw Mag Mel attacking Gundalia in his dream which was actually true, was annoying to me.

If the idea was to have every single species in one team, I think Mason would be a much better addition instead of Paige. Nurzak and Mason were already close by the end of the S3 so it would make perfect sense for him to send Mason to help Brawlers. And for the Neathian side I think Captain Elright would be perfect as well.

Mine would be golden winged knights.

After doing runs for a couple of times I realized Midir isnt that hard for me, I find his moves predictable and as long as you stay in front of his head you can avoid most of his attacks easily. Now I know everyone plays with different builds and some bosses can be especially harder with certain builds but I'm asking in general who is the boss you don't struggle much but is considered hard by the community?

I honestly wished this game was longer and had more areas to explore. DLCs are good but I thought the base game was a bit short so I wanted to ask, what kind of an area would you like to explore in the game? Would it be a DLC taking place before Ringed City or a main game area?

For me, I think exploring the concept of Hollows and Lord of Hollows ending more in the base game would be cool so something like "Hollow City" or even exploring Londor in a DLC would be cool.

This game has a bunch of DS2 references as well. Sure it's not "in your face" like some DS1 references but I think there are a fair amount of DS2 references as well so I don't get the complaint.

Heck you even walk on Earten Peak's ruins in the Ringed City DLC.

I already knew daggers were op after Sister Friede fight but DAMN that's a lotta damage

Also ignore me doing stupid thrust attempts, I thought I could get him a few times but I couldn't. I didn't realize this fight lasted fricking 8 minutes, the fight was flowing so well.

Ashine Castle Owl used to give me nightmares.

You aren't going to replace any character mind you.

I didn't include the Gauntlet exclusive bosses because I couldn't reach them yet.

Perfect:

I think this tier is pretty self explanatory and no one would argue about these bosses.

Amazing:

While I like them, they don't capture THE feeling that the Perfect tier bosses managed. Isshin Ashina is really cool but I think the fiery ground is a bit too much. Lady Butterfly is a great boss to prepare you for what's coming next. True Monk was so annoying everytime I fought him but I can't deny how satisfying it is to deflect his moves and eventually defeat him.

Good:

The fact that how fast Corrupted Monk recovers his posture made this fight kinda annoying to fight for the first time and he eventually forced me to just use snap seeds or divine confetti to cheese him and I don't usually prefer cheesing bosses in any game.

Emma is a cool introduction to get prepared for Isshin Ashina and she is fun to learn.

Gyoubu was by far the easiest main story boss for me in the game and he doesn't have that much moves but it's cool to have a horse rider boss.

Guardian Ape has some of the issues I have with the Demon of Hatred but not to a huge extent. He isn't that fun to deal with as he is just aggressively punching you or jumping around you and it can get boring because of the fact that you have to drain majority of his health bar. Also very funny to give a literally fake "Shinobi Execution" message at the end of the first phase, thank you FromSoftware.

Divine Dragon gave me a lot trouble for some reason, spesifically his last "phase" where he only had a quarter of his hp. I just couldn't figure out what to do and ended up dying a few times. Overall a really cool gimmick boss and a very cinematic one so it's hard to not like him.

Average:

Headless Ape is just a repeated boss and having another ape to deal with isn't fun.

Bad:

This might be the most controversial one in this list but it was a hard decision for me. I like the fact that Demon of Hatred was the Sculptor and the subtle hints they gave at the beginning of the game but the fight itself? Just take Guardian Ape and make him 10 times more annoying. The fact that this boss has 3 fricking phases is just unnecessary and boring in my opinion, he could have 2 health bars and it would still be hella challenging to deal with. This boss takes everything you have learnt so far in the game and throws them out of the window since you have to approach it like a Dark Souls boss. Just dodge and spam katana attacks, there are some tactics here and there to use fiery war fan prosthetic but overall I think they went a bit too far with this fight.

Hermit must've been feeling lonely

Part 1:

For the context: In this episode Ren fought Fabia to prove himself he was worthy enough to joing the Castle Knights after he betrayed his own Emperor.

And I cannot tell you how the dub ruined this episode in many ways. In this situation Ren was actually a mirror to Fabia's past, in the early part of the episode we learn that Aranaut was actually belonged to a brawler named Jin, Fabia's fiance. But unfortunately Jin lost a battle against Kazarina during the war leading to his death and Aranaut was taken by Kazarina.

Without delving into details, Fabia saves Aranaut from Kazarina's lab (which is a ballsy move tbh) and basically adopts Aranaut as her new guardian Bakugan. Now let's get back to Ren's position in this episode. Ren also lost a friend because of the war and he had to adopt Rubanoid from Sid, betrayed his Emperor to join the Brawlers and now he is finally fighting Fabia to redeem himself.

Part 2:

In the Jap version we see that right after throwing Rubanoid, Dan says: "Rubanoid is like a memento to Ren" then Fabia hears this and looks at Aranaut, remembers how Jin died. THIS was the moment Fabia realized Rubanoid lost his brawler and actually decided to forgave Ren, she basically saw herself in Ren and she was also able to empathize with Ren because same stuff happened to her! This was a perfect way to write this episode as it shows the consequences of war and how a war can affect both sides.

Now when we get back to the Dub version... We simply get nothing, Ren throws Rubanoid and Dan says "I wonder how Ren got a hold of him" and then Fabia throws Aranaut. No recalling Jin moment... I just want to ask why? Why would they even remove a scene that isn't remotely sensitive compared to what already happened in the episode and later in the season? What's ironic is that after Fabia wins she says "I finally saw another side of you at the end there" as if that scene happened in the Dub.

Part 3:

After watching the Jap version I realized how dull and incomplete the Dub felt. Fabia didn't forgive Ren just because she is a good person or Ren showed how brave he was in the battle etc etc, she forgave him because she knew how Ren felt and how war also affected him like her. Dub version cuts all that context and gives you an episode with seemingly half written but in reality it was actually well written and ruined by the censorship.
