2023 Ford Transit T-350 driver side mirror issue
The mirror glass and power motors all work perfectly, and the mount to the door is solid. The problem is the folding/swivel joint between the mirror arm and the base. At highway speeds, the entire mirror housing wiggles/moves around from wind pressure.
Does anyone know if there is a bolt or screw underneath this plastic tab that can be tightened to increase the hinge tension? Or does this usually mean the internal folding joint/mechanism is worn or broken?
