Early puppy pick for natural tail question

I currently have a 6 year old standard poodle, and am getting a mini this August. I didn’t realize that poodle tails were docked until I saw some long tails at the dog park, and asked the breeder if I could get a dog without a docked tail. She said that I could, but I’d have to make the pick (not in person) before three days old. Any suggestions for making a pick that early?
