Cheapest twizzy hire for a month
I'm looking to hire a twizzy for a month, but the prices look mental. Can anyone recommend a company that has a decent rate for a month?
I'd like to spend no more than $2000 if possible... is that possible? 🫣

Not in the mood to cook, so I'd like to order off Sargasso.
What is the best place to order genuinely good food from? Honest answers only please.
If the answer is my kitchen... I'd rather know that 😭
I'd like to send a postcard to family in the UK - how do I do this? Is it a simple process?
Thanks!
Hello! I understand that carnival is on Monday, although there have been events over the past few days like parties and things...
Is there a parade on Monday that's free and accessible to the public, like the Bermuda Day parade/Notting Hill Carnival? Or do you need to buy a ticket to watch? I see something called the "road experience" - is this the experience of watching on the road?
And where is it? I presume Front Street?
I've had a look online but I still don't quite understand! TIA x
New to island and I see these come up for sale occasionally on Facebook Marketplace.
Is it worth buying one? And if so, when should we start using them and do you suggest having them plugged in all the time?
Anything else we should be mindful of as far as damp and high humidity goes? It's our first rodeo...
Is there anywhere in town/on island that allows for coworking and taking the odd call/meeting?
I've seen Altura, but I don't want to work from somewhere all day - just for an hour or so.
We're moving next week and have just found out our new place has no blinds or curtains (and no plans for these to be installed by landlady).
Can anyone recommend where we can get tension rods from?
And anyone have any tips for installing blinds/curtains/window coverings that don't cost an arm and leg?
We're happy to get some temporary cheapish things for now.
Thank you!
We're keen to meet people around our age - late 20s/early 30s, no kids.
We like culture, sports (watching and playing), fitness etc. We're also open to trying new things, so if there's any social clubs worth checking out, we're up for giving them a go.
Is there anything you've joined or come across online - facebook/instagram etc - that you'd recommend?
Sidenote: I've seen the International Women's Club of Bermuda mentioned a million times, so I'm aware of it.
My husband's also interested in playing football/soccer - any Sunday league/casual kickabouts going?
We know it's cricket season, but does that really mean no one anywhere is playing footie at all?!
I saw a video a Bermudian made ranking parishes from best to worst and would love to get some other opinions.
We are currently on the island in an ok place, and mulling a move across the island to a slightly bigger apartment which would set us back another $1000.
It is bigger, but further away from Hamilton and various amenities we have decent access to now.
We're just not sure if it's worth the move (for more space) or whether we should stick it out where we are and wait for something bigger, but not as far away/better connected...
I'm used to eating meat/fish every day but I've come to accept that's probably not going to be possible here as prices are mental (even with the deals/cheaper options etc.)
So I'd love to know what people's favourite cheap meals to cook are/any hacks you have to save on food shopping.
One lady I spoke to recently said she doesn't bother, she finds eating takeaway is cheaper. Fair point but I don't want to risk high blood pressure since cedar salt seems to be on everything 🤣
Coming from the UK I'm new to the world of dehumidifiers but I've been warned that we need one out here.
What brand would people recommend? And am I better off buying one on Amazon and paying import fees?
I understand that the Caribbean Food Market has been closed for a while now. I'm hoping it will open again soon.
In the meantime, is there anywhere else on the island we can get plantain and scotch bonnet?
Which is the cheapest? Is it generally cheaper to buy individual classes or a monthly membership?
