What did 'traveling for real' teach you about gayness that you didn't know before?
If we assume that, unlike a tourist, a traveler tries to adapt to their destination, doesn't mind stepping out of their comfort zone, and interacts; what would you say you have learned, or what unknown perspective on gayness has it given you, that would have been harder to access if you didn't travel?
